About
Debertz - also spelled Deberts and written Дебертц in Ukrainian - is a fast,
no-nonsense score-keeper for the four-player, two-team trick-taking card game.
Log each deal in seconds and the app handles every quirk of the scoring - bites,
zero tricks, eggs, and milestone penalties - so you can argue about the cards
instead of the math.
- Two hand-crafted looks: a bold graph-paper style and a clean minimalist one
- Automatic bite, zero-trick, egg and penalty tracking
- A live winner pop-up and the running point difference between teams
- Games to 501 or 1001, saved on your device
- Full English and Ukrainian
- No accounts, no ads, no clutter

How to play
Debertz is played by four people in two teams with a 36-card deck. Each deal,
one team takes the trump - they "play" the hand - and tries to score more than
half of the points on offer. The app records each deal and keeps the running
total; here is what it tracks.
-
The deal
A deal is worth 162 points at its base (152 for the tricks plus 10 for the
last trick), and more when players declare melds. You log the split and who
took trump.
-
Winning
Games run to 501 or 1001. The first team to reach the target while leading
wins the game.
-
Bite
If the team that took trump fails to score at least half of the deal, they
are bitten: they score 0 for that deal and the opponents take the whole total.
-
Zero tricks
A team that takes no tricks at all loses an extra 50 points.
-
Three bites
Every third time the trump-taking team is bitten, it costs them a further 100 points.
-
Eggs
A deal that ends in an exact tie leaves the team that took trump "on the egg".
Both teams provisionally keep half. The next decisive deal settles it - win it
and the egg is safe, lose it and the egg hatches into a bite. A team cannot
clinch the game on unsecured egg points unless it would win regardless.
